Hoi An – Day 1

Our first day in Hoi An started out leisurely. We met our host in the morning at breakfast and with her help we booked in a few activities for the next few days. Stay tuned 😉!

After breakfast we took a stroll to the old town. It’s truly beautiful. We didn’t plan much for the day so just wandered around for the rest of the morning.

We decided that the best way to spend the hottest part of the day is in the shade. Fuelled by Cà phê trứng (egg coffee) we visited the Lantern Lady’s workshop to make our on lanterns working up an appetite in the process.

Retracing Anthony Bourdain’s steps, yet again, we made our way to the market for some local specialties. Rice noodle pork stew and some fresh spring rolls.

We spent the rest of the day bumbling around.
